I know it is pretty dead here, but I was wondering if anyone had site suggestion at Point beach. We would like an electric site.

Made the reservations months ago and it looks like it will be an absolutley beautiful weekend. We were supposed to meet some friends up there but they had to back out. We will still go. I uploaded 5 geocaches in the park so we will try that and maybe some fishing. Hopefully the leaves will be starting to turn. DH loves to use his camera. Has anyone gone camping at all this year? We were at Potawatomi State Park this weekend and the weather was a bit cool but very nice. We went to Sturgeon Bay on Saturday for the harvest fest they were holding. Large turnout. Seen some people we knew there. Lots of venders, food, music , etc. Large car show, getting bigger every year. Had a great time, hard to leave on Sunday. In 2008, it was held at Lake of the Ozarks SP in Missouri.
In 2009, it was held at the Boundary Waters Canoe Area in Ely, Minnesota.
In 2010, it was held at Ray Behrens Recreation Area near Hannibal, Missouri.
This year, due to many unfortunate circumstances, the Rally was cancelled.
So next year, we'd like to show off the State Park system in Wisconsin.

Our first camping trip for the year is just a few days away now, just two weekends away now. Can hardly wait now. I have the camper all restocked and ready to go. Sanitized the water system and put the things that we keep in the camper for the season back into the camper last week Monday. Now if we would only get some nicer weather. Has anyone else got their camper all set for the first trip? How soon is your first trip? I have reserved a site at Council Grounds. We usually try to make one trip to Council Grounds each year so it worked out good for us to do it on the date listed.
