I have a 99 Coleman Redwood with a broken door latch. My question is does anyone know if this is just a standard screen door latch, it looks close, but i was trying to nto pop-up to measure it.

If it is not standard, then where can i buy one?

Any help would be great!

Fleetwood dealer has them. I replaced my brother-in-laws for him a couple of years ago. Some have used those for a house storm door but that requires a little modification to make it work. At the time I did not feel like moding to use a house one so I picked up the origional one for replacement, two screws to take out and replace with new one - done.

Some people have been able to make a regular screen door latch work. I have a Camplite and had to end up buying a camper latch at the local RV store.

I replace my flagstaff latch with a normal screendoor lock/latch. Got it from home depot I bought three types tried to match the holes as best as I could. Its not like the locking handle keeps the theives away. After all how hard is it to get into a pop up??????

I will be popping her up this weekend, to get her cleaned out and ready for a couple of mods. So I will take a look. I found a "factory" replacment at one or 2 online dealers. Will give then a second look after I take a closer look at the door.

Thanks

Vlacava replaced his with a regular screen door latch.... Works great and it really makes it easy for the kids to open.... Don't think he will be back on the board until next week and maybe he can post how/what he did...

Just an update, fixed it with a standard Screen Door Latch...I used the inside handle that came with the camper, it was still working great, but replaced the outside "broken" handle with a standard screen door handle...Its looks great, easier to open, and gives me a spot to bungy the door open with too.
